The IB (International Baccalaureate) Programme guides students to a well-rounded development in academics, physical and socio-emotional health. Besides the opportunity to explore the world through experimental sciences, AISVN students can also further develop their talents in arts and prepare themselves as future artists. The school offers students a wide range of knowledge and skills in arts, including aesthetics, art perception, etc.
The Secondary School has three Visual Arts studios which are all located on the third floor. Each of these studios provides students with a tremendous amount of art supplies, including art tools, pigments, materials, and various equipment that students can use for creativity. This inventory helps expose students to multiple genres and levels of arts.
By studying and analyzing the artwork from famous artists of different schools, students can then visualize the connection between arts and other elements, e.g., the culture, the society, and the creators' ideology. Again, our learners will use this knowledge to build their own values and materialize those into art production of different kinds such as drawing, graphic design, watercolor painting, oil painting, sculpture, diorama, etc., express their thoughts and experience about social phenomena.
