Benefits of Music
At AISVN, the Secondary building has three music classrooms on the 5th floor, which are equipped with a variety of musical instruments such as guitar, drums, piano, organ, trumpet, flute, violin, and ukulele.
Through this subject, students have access to fundamental musical knowledge and to acquire skills from theory to practice; music theory, composition, harmony, arrangement, vocal.
Music builds language skills. As they learn their instrument, students become accustomed to different sounds that they would not have recognized before. This practice trains their ears for the nuances and subtle sounds of language.
Music improves social skills. If students play in a group, they have to learn to work together to achieve a common goal, exercising tolerance, patience, and encouragement towards their peers.
Thanks to the countless hours of practice band members devote to the orchestra, their performances have always been memorable.
