Welcome to AISVN Elementary School!
Whether you are already a part of our AISVN community, a prospective family or a visitor to our website we hope you find the information contained within these pages helpful, informative and that it serves to provide you with a sense of what makes AISVN a truly special place.
An education at AISVN is about guiding students to become global citizens while sustaining their cultural heritage.
As a fully authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) school, learning at AISVN is underpinned by providing students with the agency to ask questions, discover new things and make age-appropriate choices which positively influence their learning journey. Inquiry and a transdisciplinary approach to learning are central to all that we do each day in our classrooms and learning areas.
Whilst we are proud of our student’s academic results, there is so much more to the education that we provide. We want our students to have the courage to push the boundaries of their experience and to explore all possibilities that are available to them.
Whether in the classroom, playing sports, on the stage, participating in a field trip or when serving others, we want our students to experience the excitement of discovering that they are capable of achieving far more than they ever thought possible.
We hope our website provides a window into our world here in the Elementary School at AISVN and we hope that you will have the chance to visit or join us sometime to see for yourself what a truly special learning community we have.
Best regards,
Ross Halliday

The curriculum standards that guide learning in the Elementary School are drawn from the American based AERO Standards. AERO provides a framework for curriculum consistency across grades K-12 specifically for overseas schools.
Working in harmony with the curriculum standards is the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme which ensures that learning experiences are connected to the real world, teaching instruction is evidence based and students are regularly assessed to ensure that development and progress are measured.
