Ms. Flynn joined AIS in August 2018. Prior to working at AIS, she worked at Thorp Academy & Tong Leadership Academy in the UK, where she was the Deputy Curriculum Leader of Social Sciences. She has also worked in a number of other UK schools, including the Foyle International Language School in Northern Ireland; there she taught EAL to students of all levels and ages, from a variety of places across the globe. She has also taught EAL in Hungary and Kathmandu. Her interests include global development, social theories and justice, the development of global citizens and voluntary work with NGOs; she speaks passionately about her work with The Umbrella Foundation Nepal. Ms. Flynn is an engaging, motivated and passionate teacher, committed to helping her students succeed in realizing and fulfilling their true potential.
