Ms. Sarah has been teaching for more than 30 years, over half of it in Early Childhood classrooms. Additionally, she served as Adjunct Faculty in the Professional Child Development degree program at the University of Wyoming for over 10 years. Prior to joining ΛIS, she worked at international schools in Russia, The Netherlands, Germany, and Turkey. She has two grown children and strives to use her experience as a parent and her professional knowledge about families and child development to help foster growth for everyone involved in a child's life. Prior to parenthood, Sarah completed a 6-year around-the-world trip with her bicycle. Her hobbies include quilting, needlework, reading, traveling, and staying in touch with friends. She joins ΛIS with her husband, Stewart Shipman, Coordinator of Library Services.
