Ms. La Londe is the Librarian at ΛIS. She began her teaching career in California as a High School English teacher before joining the Peace Corps as a TEFL teacher in Morocco. Ms. La Londe has been an international educator for over forty years in Saudi Arabia, Hungary, Thailand, Israel, and Bangladesh, before moving with her teacher-husband John to HCMC and ΛIS. Her career has been almost evenly divided between the school library and MS Humanities classrooms. Active in the community and after school programs, Ms. La Londe has been a Boy Scout leader, and Red Cross Lifeguard. She has coached dozens of MS teams, and sponsored quilting and book clubs. Her two sons are 'third culture kids' and have followed in their parents' footsteps into international education. Ms. La Londe's hobbies are reading, quilting, and traveling.
