After a 30-year career in education and mental health in the U.S., “Mr. Ed” joined the staff at ΛIS. His most recent assignment was as the PK -8 counselor at the Tokyo International School. Prior to that he worked in international schools in West Africa and China. He has led workshops on parenting as well as workshops on transitions. He has experience as an acting Assistant Principal for student management, as well as Chairing Student Support Services. He has been a 6th grade teacher, high school social studies teacher, clinical social worker in Hospice.

He is excited to learn all about the Vietnamese culture and exploring this beautiful country. He is the father of three grown children who reside in different parts of the United States. He has an interest in racquet sports as well as music and cooking. He is bilingual and enjoys learning about history. He has always wanted to live in Vietnam.
