Since early this morning 30th October 2021 at the American International School Vietnam (AISVN), many secondary students accompanied by their parents, have arrived for health declaration and temperature checks at the gates. The families then moved in lines into the Elementary School building where students could fill out consent forms, do the pre-vaccination screening, receive the vaccine shot, and follow up with post-vaccination monitoring. All 5K practices have been met throughout the process.

While parents might look a little worried, students showed great excitement for seeing each other after days of 'being parted.' The school has been working with the Nha Be Health Clinic to implement a well-designed vaccination process, which is hoped to minimize exposure risks by scattering the school community into areas and grouping different grade-leveled students into time frames.
