On Saturday 26th March 2022, American International School Vietnam (AISVN) welcomed over 25 families to our warm Open House event which was held at the school campus. The event gave future parents and students an opportunity to tour our magnificent facilities that serve the high standard learning course of the IB Continuum programme. Parents were also able to meet with the school administrators and discuss the benefits students get from the curriculum which is among the Top 3 of the world.
Through our March Open House event, AISVN has received lots of positive feedback from families in various areas.
Located in the greenery South of HCMC, AISVN provides a massive campus of 65,000 sqm filled with the latest learning facilities. We reserve up to 70% of the campus for landscaping and common facilities which allows students to make connections to nature as well as participate in outdoor sports. Outdoor playgrounds of around 3,000 sqm and the football pitch of 5,600 sqm give lots of space for sports, allowing students to improve their physical health accordingly. We also provide a 25-meter long four-season swimming pool with a heating system which makes students comfortably enjoy their time in the water.
In our campus stand three main buildings for the Elementary School, the Secondary School, and the Administration. In both of the Elementary and Secondary School buildings, classrooms and multiple functionality spaces are all well-equipped with a wide array of top-notch learning resources, e.g. interactive whiteboards, digital mobile devices, or computer labs. Cutting edge instruments can be found in all science labs not only promise a lot of excitement but also assure lab safety during the learning time.
Being among the HCMC's top-tiered international schools whose English as the primary language, AISVN is accredited for Early Years to Grade 12 by the WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) which is one of the six regional accrediting organizations in the United States.
The school is also officially authorized by the IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization) to provide the IB Continuum programme. This programme consists of the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). Our statistics show the average AISVN IB score at 34, 4 points higher than the global IB average score which is 29.9. The highest IB score achieved at AISVN was 44/45.
