Dear Parents,
Next Wednesday, February 06, 2013, is a special day at AIS Elementary. Beginning at 12:30pm AIS Elementary will celebrate TET with a fun TET Fair. The celebration begins with an exciting TET Assembly.
All students from PreKinder to Grade 5 will spend the afternoon from 01:00pm till 03:00pm sampling traditional foods from the various parts of Vietnam.
Along with the food the students will have the opportunity to take part in games and activities such as painting calligraphy, making toy figurine (To He) and weaving coconut leaves, etc.
To add to the atmosphere of the day, students and staff are invited to wear traditional Vietnamese clothing to school on the day.
I know that the children will certainly enjoy themselves as they celebrate such an important festival.
