Education at AIS is based on the American curriculum. Our educational goals, curriculum, methods of teaching, etc. are written to meet the highest standards. All the textbooks and reading books used are the same as those used in competitive schools in the United States. All of this will ensure that a student who graduates from AIS will be prepared intellectually and emotionally for college-level education in the United States, Viet Nam, or anywhere in the world. At AIS we offer an American standard curriculum with an international perspective. Our curriculum ensures that our students will profoundly understand and appreciate their own culture as well as the cultures of people of different nationalities. Teaching methodology (Multiple Intelligences) Each child’s mind is unique, and each child learns in different ways. We adapt our education to best suit the individual needs of each student. AIS Teachers have received training in Multiple Intelligences techniques to accommodate each student’s learning styles. While some students have natural strengths in mathematics or verbal abilities, others may excel in understanding spatial relationships, or physical movement, or music. Still others may naturally relate to people and their emotions. Most people have a mind that comprises all of these strengths to one degree or another. AIS’ methods assess the special strengths and weaknesses of each child and nurture them accordingly. |
